The Concept
Step inside the magical Ghaf Kitchen and A4 Space ‘Ramadan Garden’ during the holy month, at Alserkal Avenue, for a truly unique and culture-packed ‘alternative’ Iftar.

Starting from June 18th, and running until Eid, A4 Space will be completely transformed into an enchanting indoor urban oasis, complete with two separate dining areas: the main ground floor A4 Space for general bookings, reimagined as The Potting Shed, and The Treehouse mezzanine level for group bookings of ten and above. The truly charming Ghaf Kitchen vintage Citroen H van ‘restaurant on wheels’, will be at the very centre of the ‘greenhouse’ fun with Luigi, the vintage 3-wheeler bike serving piping hot coffee on the side.

Enjoy the feeling of the great outdoors in the comfort of the indoor A4 Space, and a creative setting. Hanging plants, trestle walls, wall-to-wall terracotta pots and jars with hanging lanterns and fairy lights, are all in place to evoke a great summer picnic ambience in Dubai’s number one urban hot-spot of Alserkal Avenue.

The Menu
In keeping with both culture and tradition, break your fast with dates and start off with lentil soup with Arabic herbed bread, marinated feta cheese, beetroot hummus and house-cured olives to share. Water, served in quirky bottle-topped carafes is ‘on the house’.

Choose your main course from your handsome waiter and tuck into rotisserie corn-fed chicken with homemade piri piri sauce with posh slaw and fries, roast leg of lamb with salsa verde and roast potatoes with green beans on the side, or the Ghaf Kitchen legendary ‘posh’ fish finger sandwich made with fresh haddock, mushy peas, tartar sauce and fries, all served up on a delightful array of potting crates, vintage enamel and china-wear and retro milk bottles.

Hand-crafted fresh juices are whipped up by the Ghaf Kitchen bar team, made from herbs, spices and fresh fruits and cordials such as fresh pink grapefruit with rosewater and fever tree tonic, home-made strawberry lemonade or cucumber fizz with fresh mint.

Desserts are too tempting to miss, with the Trifle Burger the pièce de résistance of the three tempting treats on offer daily. Little surprises will be added throughout the month, to keep you coming back for more!

How about a movie night… A4 Space will be presenting “Here Comes The Sun”, in collaboration with Cinema Akil, beginning on the 18th June. A series of complimentary film screenings featuring 13 films relating to sunlight from around the world, showcasing every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 9pm, in the A4 Space cinema.
